Genoskwa 6

I had a plan.

Write the story, get it edited and prepped for publishing, then announce it. Here. With fanfare.

Except…the best laid plans of mice and men, right?

If you follow me on Facebook then you already know that G6 is up for pre-order. But if you only follow me here, this is news.

All I can do is apologize. I mean, you’re hearing the news a little late but it’s not like others have already read the story. It’s still on pre-order.

As I predicted previously, this is the final installment of the Genoskwa series. I feel like it landed in a good way. I sincerely hope you like it.

And, as always, please leave a review wherever you pick it up. I don’t even pretend to understand algorithms, but I know that reviews help. A lot.

As for the future…I am working on something that…well, it seemed like a cool idea when I first thunk of it. I’m not sure how it will be received, but I’m willing to roll the dice. I will say that I had to alter it pretty significantly from it’s original version. It seemed like a huge issue at the time and maybe once it’s released, I’ll make a blog post about it.

I don’t want to give too much away too early so let’s just call this a teaser. I know, I’m the worst at keeping secrets. I always reveal covers before the story is finished or announce new projects when they’re still in the planning stage, but this time? I want to play it close to the vest.

I’ll leave you with this:

Hmmm. Trilogy? Well, I guess I’m committed then, aren’t I?

Okay. That’s enough for now. Go and pre-order G6. You gotta know how it ends, right? Meanwhile, I’ve got work to do. Plastic flamingos and…stuff.

😉

Here’s wishing you much love, luck and bacon!

Nick 2 is Live!

If you liked the first one then you should love the sequel!

Everyone worked overtime to get this out in time for the holiday season and I would be remiss if I didn’t offer a quick shout out to three special ladies that made it happen.

My cousin Terri Stalcup who is a mad-fast beta reader. Lucky for me she holds no punches and does a hella job of keeping me on track and along the straight and narrow.

Sheila Shedd who dropped everything to edit the messes I send her. She can really polish a turd and make it shine!

Tracy Tufo who formats and publishes these polished turds, then works her magic to spread the word to people in every corner of the known world.

Without these three wonder women I couldn’t have done it in time for the holidays! Thank you all SO MUCH!

“How can the same shit happen to the same guy twice?” – John McClane, Die Hard 2

When CPO Chris “Nick” Nichols retires to a quiet mountain town in Montana, all he wants is the peace and solitude he earned after a lifetime of service. Instead, his dream home comes with one unexpected clause: he must take up the mantle of the previous owner and serve as the town’s beloved Santa every Christmas.

Nick begrudgingly agrees—but his tranquil retirement unravels fast.

He never planned on falling for the local girl.
He sure as hell didn’t want to become Santa Claus.
He had zero interest in being a role model for an orphaned teen.
And he definitely didn’t want to square off against the Mountain Mafia.

But Fate is a fickle bitch, and Nick soon finds himself neck-deep in a blood feud that hits far too close to home.

Ho-Ho-Holy hell… a holiday heart warmer dipped in adrenaline and dusted with supernatural sparks, this is what happens when Die Hard crashes a Hallmark Christmas-and Santa’s packing more than toys.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Merry Christmas!! And here’s wishing you and yours a lifetime of love, luck, and bacon!
